Pop-Up Plant-Based Dinner at Gracias Madre Newport Beach

As part of Gracias Madre's renowned pop-up dinner series, Chefs Michael Reed and Diana Briscoe will team up to curate a delectable four-course plant-based dinner experience on Wednesday, August 2nd at 7 p.m. at Gracias Madre, Newport Beach.
The menu will feature a delightful fusion of Mexican and contemporary cuisines, including Crispy Barbacoa Squash Blossom with cashew ricotta, cascabel salsa, avocado, and corn tomato salad. The entrees will tantalize your taste buds with Roasted Spiced Celery Root & Charred Leek, accompanied by a sweet corn soup with summer vegetable succotash, cherry tomatoes, and soft herbs. The culinary journey will end on a sweet note with a White Peach Tart served with vanilla ice cream and salsa de tamarindo.
Gracias Madre's Executive Chef Diana Briscoe brings her love and passion for food, cultivated from her family's farm in Bogata, Colombia, to create flavor-packed and nutritious dishes for guests to enjoy their way to a happier, healthier life.
Chef Michael Reed, a 2023 James Beard Foundation Best Chef California Semi-finalist, is renowned for his culinary talents, as showcased in his acclaimed restaurants Poppy + Rose in Downtown Los Angeles and Poppy & Seed in Orange County.
